Colville Covered Bridge in Bourbon County, Kentucky
Spanning 124 feet long one span and 18 feet wide, Truss Type: Multiple Kingpost,. Originally built in 1877 by Jacob Bower. Repaired in 1939 by Louis Bower and then again in 1937 by his son, Stock. Damaged by a flood in 1974, it was rebuilt and reopened in 2002. Original bridge listed on National Register of Historic Places December 30, 1974
I have tried to restore the bridge to its former state as it might have been ages ago as the bridge is currently defaced with graffiti and is in disrepair.
I have been doing my artwork by doing artist signed limited editions prints using archival inks, papers and mats. Current sizes are 8" x 10" and 11" x 17".
