Pawkeepers have a mission to provide an alternative to crating and
caging your family pet.
Taking your beloved pet to a place where they will be on their own at night
without the comfort of a loving human, no couches, no carpet and nowhere to run
makes every dog owner feel like canceling their trip. We have all seen pictures
of unhappy dogs in crates begging for some attention or the chance to be set
free. The Pawkeepers
are decidedly against dog kennels and this terrible method of confining dogs in
cages.
We fully understand that sick dogs on the mend may need to be housed by a
veterinarian to ensure proper recovery, but healthy family pets are an important
member of your family and need to be in a loving home environment!
The Pawkeepers provide
loving families for customer's pets in private homes. All dogs are free to enjoy
the comforts of a home, unlike a crate or kennel that has been shared by so
many.

is to specialize in taking excellent care of your dog in a home environment.

Did do an pencil drawing of Bruce Springsteen that he autographed way back in the Born to Run days...saw Bruce at his first area appearance at the Maryland Cole Field House opening up for Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis. I feel The Pawkeeper's Inn has one of the finest reputations in the tri-state area and is highly recommended by those in the know by word of mouth. As anyone knows that hollow gut retching feeling that you get when dropping your dog off at a concrete kennel and seeing that sad look in your dog's eyes. I must say that it is a great feeling of being able to drop your dog off and know that your dog will not just be cared for but be treated as another member of the family. This is something that is rare and does not exist in your typical commercial kennels that are abound. Your dog is kept in the care of a person that knows, loves and understands animals and also conveys the knowledge to help willing owners that are interested in learning, a great insight to those that have had possibly problematic dogs that have been not welcome in other places. One might pay big money for services like this at other places, including Cesar Millan the nationally celebrated Dog Whisperer, who actual asked The Pawkeeperof some dog behavior related questions that were of interest to him to which The Pawkeeper related her insight to Cesar. Many, myself included have seen a remarkable positive transformation in dogs that have visited the Bed and Biscuit and through discipline of the owner can carry over The Pawkeeper's gifted ability to respond to the needs of the dogs. For this rarity and jewel The Pawkeeper's Inn will always have someone that is forever in their debt for helping me with my care and training of my dog, especially on Doggie Day Care Days. Thank you!
